Perfect for parents looking for sports programs for their children this summer, Canongate Golf is hosting 30 teams for its summer Junior Golf League for children 13 and under. In part of the PGA’s national Junior Golf League, the League features a scramble format against other Atlanta area golf clubs in a structured league that provides a popular, less stressful format than medal-play competition. During the 5-week season, teams will compete in 4-6, nine-hole scrambles. All players will receive team jersey’s, golf balls and bag tags. Canongate’s Hamilton Mill team will try to defend its World Series championship this year. Registration for Canongate’s Junior Golf League is open until May 6 and the pricing for the Canongate teams are $165 for Canongate Members and $200 for non-members.
