Gospel recording artist Shantell "Charisma" Morrissette performs at the Village Youth Summit Saturday at The Amp at Adamson Square in Carrollton. The four-hour summit, which included speakers and an original production of "Where's the Village?", was held to encourage the community to "come together and be the village it takes to raise our children." Carrollton City Councilman Gerald Byrd hosted the event.
