A roofer carries shingles Friday across the ridge of The Oaks residence hall under construction on the University of West Georgia campus. The Oaks, along with the renovation to Bowdon Hall and the new East Dining Hall nearby, will make up the East Village. The project includes more than 400 beds for students and is scheduled to be completed and occupied by students for the fall of 2013.
